2020 Cupid’s Cup 5K

LSI had a great turnout for the 2020 Cupid’s Cup 5k on February 15! On top of having more than 30 participants who braved the cold temps, we had four team members make the leader board!

LSI has been a sponsor for this terrific event since 2016 and it just gets bigger and better each year. This fundraising event benefits Cardiac Rehabilitation programs at Atrium Health and Carolinas Healthcare System in the Charlotte Area. Proceeds help fund wellness and heart-health education materials, patient access to quality and affordable heart healthcare and rehabilitative services, and community outreach. Go ahead and mark your calendars for 2021! This crew is sure to be there. Will you?

LSI is excited to see everyone at the 34th Annual AACVPR Meeting in Portland, Oregon September 18-21, 2019!

We will have two separate booths again this year. Booth 108 is where you will be able to see a demo of the LSI system, visit with our field staff members, and enter for your chance to win this year’s amazing prize – a 3-night trip to Napa Valley! Booth 109 is designated as our Advocacy Booth where you can collect some of our amazing Education Material!

2018 Patient Care Survey Results

The results of 2017’s Know Your Numbers Survey were so popular, LSI created a follow-up survey in 2018 to obtain more insight into the day-to-day of cardiopulmonary rehab programs. LSI’s Patient Care Survey focused on various tools and assessments used to create and individualized treatment plan to help patients reach their goals. While many of the results align with industry-standard best practices, we were definitely surprised by some of the responses.

In early March 2019, LSI sponsored AACVPR’s annual Day on the Hill (DOTH) event in Washington, DC. LSI team members had the opportunity to join more than 75 clinicians from 35 states who were there to meet with their elected officials to identify needs in the legislature that make access to Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation difficult for some patients. The World Heart Games (WHG) will be held on June 7 – 8, 2019 in Hickory, NC. Lenoir-Rhyne University is this year’s site partner and has offered their beautiful campus to host this event.
