2018 Patient Care Survey Results

The results of 2017’s Know Your Numbers Survey were so popular, LSI created a follow-up survey in 2018 to obtain more insight into the day-to-day of cardiopulmonary rehab programs. LSI’s Patient Care Survey focused on various tools and assessments used to create and individualized treatment plan to help patients reach their goals. While many of the results align with industry-standard best practices, we were definitely surprised by some of the responses.

Day On The Hill

Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Professionals will have the opportunity to meet with their state legislators at AACVPR’s Day on the Hill in Washington, DC March 4 – 5, 2019. This annual event provides a platform for healthcare professionals to lobby and advocate for the industry. Previous visits to Capitol Hill focused on Bill HR.1155/S.1361 which would allow non-physician practitioners to fulfill the Medicare requirement of “direct supervision” in cardiac and pulmonary rehab programs.
